Diabetes

Just wondering if anyone here has been diagnosed with diabetes and has had problems with their eyes? I have just recently been diagnosed with diabetes (also high blood pressure and cholesterol) and just started on the medication about 10 - 12 days ago and my vision has gone blurry over last 4 days. I thought it was the high blood pressure pills so had them changed, but no change in eyesight. I am wondering anyone els has experienced this.
And to top it all of, the subby is sick as well. And I might have to get rid of it for another vehicle, probably a $500 bomb as finances are very low and my work has been cut to a quarter of what it was.
