As you can see, I've made it so I can still use the box trailer as the everyday garden trailer, then drop the box in and off we go :)

Thanks for looking and will make drawings and material list for others when I get a chance ;)

Cheers,
Paul

Very good job there, nice choice in tow car, I have 1 very similar. How much do ya think the camper setup would weigh? If not too much you could make a lift up boat rack & throw a tinny on top.

Cheers Jake

Very, very cool.

Just a "Lets go" box, slide and ride. I like it.

Oneday I'd like one I could slide into the ute... Another pipe dream...

The dingy rack is a sweet idea too.

Looks really flash.

You'll get there! I had the same thing with my wagon - now it's a reality. A few things to tidy up, add some bits to help me remove it full of camping gear and it too will be a "drop and go" setup like what Paul has built above :D

Cheers

Pretty simple and easy to make.. just need time and patience.. the 2 things I don't have ;)

Hey Jake, Thanks and yeah.. very good tow vehicle, only wished it was Diesel and not V8 Petrol :( Not sure of the weight just yet, but I'm guessing it will be around the 150kg mark. I was thinking of making another frame that goes on the outside of the trailer, so I can make a side swing-over tinny.

Done and enjoying it.. loaded to the gunnels and didn't really notice it behind the Canyonero

I like it too.. I think we'll call it the "Let's go box"

I always had dreams of making something similar for my Brumby but never got around to it. I wanted something like the bigger 4WD utes but smaller scale of course.

Dingy rack is in the planning stage ;)

Update.. Just finished the box for the front of the camper. Somewhere to store the poles and awning walls and floor.

I really like the way you have done that box, been thinking about one for my (stock standard base model) camper trailer for a while.

Was your ladder up to the bed purchased or constructed? I haven't been able to find a simple light weight option (not that I have spent too long looking).

Thanks purp, I tried to make a simple box but in the end it took so long and headaches that I won't be buiding any more for a while.

The ladder came with the Oztrail tent. I haven't got a pic of mine but here's a link to one off the net...
