ah Alex the joys of having a daughter congratulations ...

when she is a teenager buy a gun rack, a shovel, a shotgun and a baseball bat and have them on the rack by the front door right where they can be seen by prospective boy friends...

I intend doing this when my daughter gets older :)

Oh how right you are, my daughter is a teacher at Guilford Grammar and drives a WRX and her boyfriend is about 6'3", only way I'd ever stop him would be to put a bullet through him.

We were gonna find out too at 19 weeks, but the little bugger crossed his legs.

Have you had much experience with young kids?

yeh her legs were very close together, so theres still a chance of it being a boy, but unlikely.

I personally havent had alot of experience, im one of the eldest in my family and have alot of younger cousins, thats about the closest experience ive had.

My girl tho has had alot of eperience, she is 21 and her youngest brother is 9 or so and older sister is 11, so she has had alot of experience changing nappies etc, she is really good with young kids and will make a great mother.

so much excitement!

hey guys, thought id give abit of an update with only 9 weeks until the expected date.

everything is going extrememly well. We had a 3D scan last night, if anyone ever thinks about getting one, get it done, its purely unbelievable.

We had confirmation that it is infact a girl and she is growing very well. The dude described her as 'solid' haha, she has very long legs and big feet.

the quality of these scans are awesome, you can even see facial expressions. She wasnt happy with all the pushing and poking that was going on haha.

so chuffed right now :D

Good stuff!

Just remember that it can happen up to 2 weeks either side of the due date, we were 10 days early. We had only packed the hospital bag the night before thinking we had over a week to go

Our little fella is 11 weeks old already.

And when the baby is finally at home all that organisation goes out the window.

Time to fly by the seat of your pants and hold on tight for the next 18-20 years
