Well,, since there was an issue with my license (Transport Department cockup) they decided to call a couple more officers over and go over my car with a fine toothed comb (no nitts found). I knew there was nothing dodgy on my car, so all they could come up with was "if your tires extend beyond your chassis, you have to have SOLID flares not the FLEXIBLE ones". I explained to them that the flares I had fitted were the legally required ones under the guidelines for vehicle modification in Qld and that they complied with Aust Standards and ADR stipulations.

In the end, they admitted to not really knowing as much as I seemed to about the matter and that was the end of the issue. I mean, come on, "tires extending beyond the chassis have to have solid flares"? Umm, I thought most cars had their wheels on the outside of the chassis, and then, the fenders on most newer cars aren't even as stiff as the thick rubber extrusions I have around the edge of my fenders...
Haha, I would of loved to of seen that, cops going over a finely restored car with a fine tooth comb. Nice :)

so u had ur foggies and ur neon on when not needed and illegal to do so.

cant say i blame him for pulling ya over

if only every other dude/chick turned their damn foggies off in daylight and clear weather at night, they can be very annoying

also listen to ur mother. chances are very high that she is right and u wont realise it coz of the mindset teenagers get. but ull realise later on with more time and experience on the road.

Saying you know the capabilities of your car doesn't mean you can go 10ks quicker into a round about then say 90 corolla just because your car has awd for example. Not saying you do, just, you can learn a lot from people who have been there done that (parents).
nah i am always on the limit or just under but when i do come up to the intersections or anything like that i am going alot slower but yeh i undersatnd where ur cumming from chears

The light you have must shine on the ground & be a single switch

its also a $250.00 > $350.00 fine in the west & two points for fog lights on duing the day & night ( I am talking low bumber fog lights )
when I purchased my newo out back there was a note on the dash stating this .

I've got a few, but I'm short on time so in brief: Was shopping for a xmas gift for dad in the city with his "country rough" rangie. The cops waited for me to return to the car, I left the park, the cops pulled me over and the result was a canary on the car.

It also helps heaps a great deal by being a chick, ;) .....till you get picked up by another woman that is. doh! :(

My best close call, was when I was 19, driving a Black n Red n Chrome Torana with sports exhaust and warm 202 under the hood. ( Before I discovered subes ). I used to speed everywhere in those days. This one, I sped up big time to try to beat a red light and get thru on the amber, must have gotten up to at least 20-30kms over, then blew right past an unmarked police car at the lights to my left on a total red light, wasnt even close to an amber.

I thought 'SH1T!!! Im totally gone now!' So I pulled over to the bus bay on the left asap, killed the engine and waited, coz I just knew they would pull me over. And,....they did, they parked behind me, no sirens, put on the lights and two very very young male coppers walked up to my car. They asked the usual questions....why? etc etc, but the whooooole time they talked, both guys were busy staring at my legs n tits. Now, Im 6'5", so thats a lot of leg! Was wearing only hotpants and a peasant crop top at the time too. As soon as I realised their 'angle', I said in a delicate, 'blonde' imitation voice. "Im soooooooo sorry officer, that was very naughty of me, I tried to make it through on the yellow" ( gave them my doe eyes, looking all innocent - though I prolly didnt even need to do that ).

They asked me if it was my car, I said yes. They asked me to hop out of the vehicle and they stared at my legs even more! They both stood with an admiring look. Then they went off and chatted to themselves quietly a bit, while trying to hide smiles came back and said.....( trying hard to sound very mature and slightly deeper voice if I wasnt mistaken...."Miss, we've decided to let you off on this occation, but pleeeeease be more careful in the future". I replied "Yes officer, I will, thankyou" ( again in blonde voice and doe eyes ). GRIN  As soon as I was round the corner I took off again doing 15 over.

PHEW!!!! I was so relieved....

Been pulled over at least three more times where I was let off with a warning for speeding by male officers. Only been booked twice by hand held guns, one was female.

Oh yeah, just remembered another one. A few months back when I got pulled over in my WRX accellerating from nought to about 30 over the limit in an open stretch of 60km/hr section of road ( I was showing a friend what my rex could do ), then brought it right back to speed limit straight away (-before any cops appeared). When pulled over, I said quite honestly, "Sorry officer, I was just showing my friend here how quick this car can accellerate - I normally dont drive like this at all" ( crossed fingers behind my back ). They um'd and err'd for ages among each other they said "OK, well dont do it again! I see you driving like that again and I will impound your car OK" I replied "You bet, will do sir".

bloody cops

should be more of em i recon .im no angel. but in my day there wernt as many cars on the road people were more curtious and not in such a hurry.black spots are just a name for a spot were drivers dont drive to conditions.
i have a spare seat in my truck anyone is welcome to come for a ride. in the morning or afternoon is most entertaining . or better still come and stand in between the armcoe rail between nth and sth bound arterial road or beside the bruce when its 40 ks. i like to come home every night (and drive my cars) one of my m8 throws golf balls i want a shirt that reads you speed i throw rocks AND I DO.
it amuses me to see people doing 5/10 ks over in a 4wd that weighs 2 or 3 tonne . phone talkers.makeup artist. . tailgaters. inconsiderate.

we need more cops just think were we would be without them and there rules

ok iv had my rave

remember if you dont want to pay the fine dont do the crime
