I like the Homegrown and Blues & Roots on the other nights too, infact I listen to Triple J nearly any time I can, especially like now when on the computer. Bit hard at work with the other noobs that like AM talkback crap, or girly pop Nova. (that should rock someones boat)

Funny enough recently the featured Band and Albulm a couple of weeks back was The Hives, and the Tick Tick Boom song was so appropriate for my old EA82T........lol.
'03 Forester X, stock standard for now.

Just completed an assignment on 'Surf Music' haha
Give it a listen, instrumental, clean stratocasters with tonnes of reverb mixed with huge variety of picking styles.

Listen:
Dick Dale (king of the surf sound :))
download here - http://boppeslag.blogspot.com/2007/07/dick-dale.html

*Disclaimer: Download it - If you like it, go and buy it, if you don't delete it within 24Hrs :)

My boss listens to Fresh Fm, The quality of music is very poor and the hosts aren't very good at what they do.

Good Albums that i am currently thrashing.

Circa Survive - On Letting Go
Alexisonfire - Crisis
Enter Shikari - Take To The Skies
Klaxons - Myths Of The Near Future
City And Color - Sometimes
Rise Against - Siren Song Of The Counter Culture
Frenzals - San Souci
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Jamie T - Panic Prevention
NOFX - War On Errorism

All very excellent start to finish albums.

Sounds like the presenter off JJJ (Scott Dooles) should be on Fresh Fm. I think he would be better on a commercial station, he brings JJJ down to his level.

Thoughts?

J n the Dr, the old Hack presenter and the fella who reports for hack are good. 'Pirate Radio' presenter is alright because of the listeners that ring up...

the old hack presenter was i think Robbie Buck, who now has hosted just about every session at one time or another haha. he is great tho.
I dont think the JJJ breakfast show has been the same without Jay there. that said it hasnt been the same since Adam and Will were on air.
Also interesting is when Dr. Karl Kruselnitski? is on- around lunchtime on a particular day, he's a great science geek.

Yes, Dr Karl. Was going to mention him, but wasn't too sure on his name as I'm not with most of them haha. He is good to listen to.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but I've always enjoyed Pink Floyd.

I was sorry to hear today of the death of Richard Wright, the keyboard player, who brought all those great organ and keyboard pieces in the songs.
He particully collaborated on Dark Side of the Moon, one of the great album of all times spending record times in the charts. Great Gig in the Sky is another great music piece.

Thanks Richard for the Music...I enjoyed your work..
