I watched a bit of it this morning for the first time. I tell ya what, it was making me furious. You could knock half those blokes over with a feather and carry on. Bloody hell it was annoying me. The ref full time sucked. He needs to be sacked.

Besides all that it wasn't too bad. I would prolly watch it again one day.

heaven? im sure heaven can make a round ball, after all, its a perfect shape 8)

The ref was absolutely shocking. It took Josip Simunic 3 yellow cards before he was dismissed with a red! 8O

What about all them handballs??

The game was borderline anarchy!!

Great win against Croatia. We will massacre Italy on Monday.
The feeling around Europe at the moment is electric, Most people l have spoken to want Australia to win this match.
Our loss against Brazil was not an indication of weakness, we outplayed them but had trouble finding the back of the net. What is amazing though is how many Aussies are over here at the moment, GO AUSSIES!

1-0 to the Italians. Nil all up until the 93rd min (3min extra time), then Totti does a fairly blatant dive in the box, gets Italy a penalty. Totti scores penalty very well, and Australia is out in a very sh!tty way in a game were they had most of the ball.

Australia could have made more of the game as for most of it they were one man up and controlling they game, they just did not make enough chances for themselves. I hope they were not playing to get to extra time and then penalties?? Italy probably won because they are more experienced and know what they can get away with when the ref is under the pump.

Bloody fairy diving Italian football players!!!!!!!

Even though the winning goal was a farce, it's fair to say the better team won.

The Socceroos sure gave them curry though!! Well done Aussie.

and I thought the Australia vs Croatia game was an epic...

that ref should be hung by the genitals.

although deep down, Italy may have won, (so would of Australia for that matter), I didn't like the way we went down.

On the field, we were over them like a rash. We needed the likes of Kewell, and more of Aloisi. We just needed to find the back of the map.

At least we can now stand tall and proud, we're now recognised and respected by the best teams in the world 8)

I'm damned proud of the socceroos! :D They definately exceeded my expectations, And I'll be there for their welcoming parade in August!

I heard before the cup that the American's were saying that Australia was only there to make up the numbers. Where did Australia finish, and did the Americans make it through to the final 16? :P

I did have a good chuckle when the newsreader said "Australia's dreams have been shattered" . . . . I thought "Our wildest dreams came true" when we qualified for the world cup? And then to make the finals!!
