Very taxing times

Post by Outback bloke » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:12 am

At first I thought this was funny..... Then I realized the awful truth of it.
Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think..

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
It's time to apply
The inheritance tax.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mum stayed home to raise the kids.

Very good and sadly very true. Income tax was apparently brought in to help the war effort in WW1 I believe. It was obviously a good scam and has been with us ever since.

Did you read the hacked climategate emails ?
reading it is so funny as I can relate to similiar types frustrations,
data unnamed, like WTF is this, unorganised, where theres hole fit data to fit with the boss's idea. Code of NFI of how it could of worked.......

And on this is what countries are deciding to spend tens, no no hundreds of BILLIONS.......
That spend comes from TAX TAX

and after spending that TAX it wouldn't have made one bit of difference,
but there'd be another like stockmarket in hot air (carbon), and yes the billion dollar companies will make more billions, and the gov burecracy will get bigger.

even if there is some global climate warming that is man made,
it is no where near the doom and gloom thats been pedaled.

I just shake my head at the scale of the number of people that have swallowed up the doom and gloom this time,

that hacker is a HERO.

Totally agree! It just goes to show what they want to show us and how they go about it - even though there's mounting evidence on the other side to debunk each new theory the come up with to prove their original (yet still modified) "problem" they're trying to sell to us...

And GST - the tax that taxes a tax! Just look at fuel excise and the GST...

Cheers
