PM Inbox size

Post by Phizinza » Wed Mar 18, 2015 8:09 am

Why is the PM inbox size only 75 messages?

A PM is only text, 1kb can hold 1000 characters, minus overheads and you've got about half that. I pay $8 a month for 10gb, that is 10,000,000kb. :/

I queried that once, was told to keep my messages by cutting and pasting them into MS Word heh.
Seriously though, for this forum these days do you really send/receive enough messages for it to be a big problem?

No, but I'm a message hoarder! By not importing them to the computer I know where the info is. When I download it I always do the wrong format to easily find what I want later :/

I just don't like having to sift through 40 old messages and see which ones have important info and delete the others. Plus half my messages are sent items, which have content I mean to convert to articles. All that sorting while I'm time short just so I can receive messages for the RX parts annoyed me. There really isn't a good reason to limit it under 200 that I can think of, so that's why I asked.

Might have too. Although I don't like putting email addresses on forums as forums are targets for robot scripts.

can cheat by using words instead of the symbols.
eg bob (at) blah (dot) com
put extra spaces, etc. They can't pick up stuff like that.

BTW, happen to be selling turbo clutch pedal setup from your RX?
