New valve caps, I've been trying to find these for ages!

and finally a custom dash mat from belmont auto carpets (PH. 92779494)
Free plug because they did a damn good job, it's the little things that count, for example the plastic piece that covers the vents on top of the dash was bent and buckled from heat, they fixed that before making the mat. the mat is completely custom because no one mkes one for the vortex, it cost me $95

and here it is

The Vortex is looking great.
I like the valve caps there a nice touch.
All this reminds me that i need to pull my finger out and get started

Hi Mate
They remind me of the sti lights i saw on one of the xt cars
at XT.net.
It should look cool.
Ive been wondering how hard it would be to produce a copy of my
dash facia out of fiberglass or plastic.
Making a mold from plaster or silicone so its reusable.
Cheers Pete

hmm i doubt it would be too hard pull all the vents out make a plaster mould then its all easy from there, although it would have to be fairly accurate to fit properly with the clips, slots etc worth a try.

swan auto's also has got two fwd vortexe's in recently ( i already tried for a dash, they are both damaged) just incase there are any parts you need, he also has a white turbo bonnet but he wants $280 for it i don't want topay that much lol

That's an awesome looking car. Are the wheels 14s or 13s?

Thanks MUDRAT, unfortunately they are only 13's but the weight difference between one of those alloys and the standard steel is unbelievable.

I think they suit the car well!

especially now i riced/blinged them with gold letters and subaru valve caps :D
