Gday guys,
Just recently got myself my first Brumby after dabbling for the most part in Wrx's, Foresters & Outbacks...
Right now I have an 04 H6 Outback & the '92 Brumby, with big plans for the Ute... ej conversion etc...
Anyways, looking forward to the fun and reading back on all your threads, builds and convos..as I learn more about the oldschool variety
Cheers,
Ernest

Welcome to the forum Ernest!
Glad you finally got into a brumby!! A true Subaru classic and not yet in the sense that they’re so rare they’re unobtainable.
Throw up a pic when you can. And if you haven’t found this fella yet, look up Subarino Auto Electrical. He’s Perth based and specialises/has a real soft spot for Brumbys and anything MY era! Plus he does a pile of other cool stuff with auto electrics.
I too have EJ plans for my brumby. Can’t wait but it’s quite a process with my plan.
Cheers
Bennie

Hi mate, yes I'm in close contact with Dave at Subarino...he lives like 5 mins from me too which is handy...in fact he is partly to blame for my renewed interest in the oldschool...
My Brumby is going to him this coming week for a full rundown and inspection and we will go from there...
As for posting a pic up...it's been a longtime since I've posted such things on a forum platform so I will need to figure out how to do that again...haha, Photobucket I'm assuming?

Yeah mate ripper little brumby there!
As you know, it’ll be in VERY good hands with Dave
Looking forward to the EJ updates when they come! Will you do some or all DIY or will you get Dave to do the whole shabang?
Cheers
Bennie

Cheers guys,
I will get Dave to sort out the mechanicals... I will try to do the rest myself (body work & interior)... I have limited tools and experience but researching as much as I can
Currently working on refurbing the tray... Fair bit of surface rust and a few small rust spots... Will post pics once it's done
