No mods planned as yet.
Maybe the usual nudge-bar, aerials and spotties if the deal arrives in-front of me.
Not even planning a lift kit yet.
For now, just enjoying the bliss of leather and climate/cruise control.
The more I look at those wheels, the better they seem to get. Might be my favourite stock wheel I've yet seen!

Very nice - if I could afford one I would have Gen 4 in a heartbeat - probably a GT or 3.0R though

Same rims as my old H6 Outback. They are awesome
I think a small lift, just so you don't scrub the underside when you're down at the block. They don't need much.. maybe just 1" on the strut tops.
I love that interior.. so luxury

and good to see you removed that dash mat.. it made the dash look cheap

You offering a lift you have sitting in that little toolshed of yours?
It's very comfortable, though I wish I could see an easy, clean solution to mount the gps! Working on that one.
Tigger: This may be the 7th Subaru to enter my hands... Got the bug hey.

Funny you should say that.. I'm actually working on 2 kits atm. One for Richard's white Gen3 Outback and one for Joe's white Gen4 Ouback.. I could certianly add another Gen4 to the list

How about the factory nav-stereo setup? or an aftermarket one? I should show you Joe's setup.. works perfect and even have bluetooth hands-free

You should post here, asking for someone to send you a "badge of ownership". 7th subie would look very cool

Haha not sure... She's never even seen gravel... The factory plastic guarding is still completely intact, and undamaged in any way.
I'll look into it, none of mine have been new though.

Looks mint! Blue suits the car well. if I were to get a "new" car It would be something like this, though probably with a stick shift. Will be cool to see it out on the dunes soon

Well we'll talk more about the lift kit when I get home but here's some info on the stereo parts to ponder over
The Fascia part...

Really any stereo can be fitted after you've got the new fascia kit but here's one I found on fleabay that think would do the job nicely

As for going in the sand with her yet... Maybe not until she's lifted with keener tyres...
Luxurywagon people! It's what it's about.
Those both look like astonishing prices. Sounds like it would be the thing to do though, and that head unit has a lot going for it. I have profound trust in my TomTom though and I wonder if I could get used to some china-maps gps setup. :P
I also have sour memories of having put stereos in my last run of vehicles, and I hate it and curse it each time, so this might be a slow project.
Anyone know of an easy way to put an AUX input on an existing factory stereo?

Otherwise I might have to work out how to burn CD's again...

It's all black top to S-Bend and you'd love the drive along the coastal road

The maps aren't china maps.. they are the same as your TomTom maps. I fit stereos all the time, so if you need some help, just give me a shout. I'm using one of these head units in my canyonero with drop down dvd screens and IR headphones for the tin lids. I love the gps and even used it to get to the town near your place.
I think the only Aux output/input in your stereo is for the stacker but Gannon is probably the man to ask on that. I would just use one of those FM transmitter units that you put a USB or SD card into, then plugs into your ciggy lighter socket. I use one in the yellow beast and works well on the 88 freq

It definitely looks factory in there and has all the bells and whistles. I love the hands-free because the sound of the music cuts out and you hear the call through the speakers and with BlueTooth it all happens as soon as you get in the car.
S-Bend Caravan Park is on the main road to Geraldton, just between Dongara and Greenough. The CP has everything there and it's a great base camp area to see around the local area. From memory, Greenough Hamlet is one of the oldest settlements in WA and has a lot of history in it. The drive up to Dongara via the Indian Ocean Drive is spectacular.
As for dates, I'm still not 100% sure what will suit everyone, so I'll say the first weekend in November. I'd like to go for more than the weekend, so I'll be looking at heading up Friday and return home on Monday.

I'll find $1000 from next swings paycheck and get that to happen.

I might need some ebay assistance with the purchasing of the said products as I am not able to use ebay. (Long story)
After that we just need to line up our swings! I fly back to work Tuesday and will be away for four weeks until there... I do have from the 20th-05th over the Xmas period off...
Roadtrip!
