Sorry to say but I agree.. and how much slower (and fuel thirsty) would they make your Brumby??
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Yes, sorry to say and I'll agree.

Fuel thirsty due to drag and incorrect gearing, less torque to the road, speedo incorrect, road holding sacrificed, guard rubbing issues, harassment from the law, etc etc. Is it worth it? Especially as a "P" plate driver.

Gary ;)

clearly above 25 year olds like the type of cars and under 25s like lowered big rimmed cars, its as simple as that, you three people are the first to ever say my brumby looks ugly, and i had alot of compliments about it. believe it or not !!

Considering the options! they look much better than cheap desert rats!

wow, this thread gave me a good laugh. I will defend most peoples right to whatever their preference is when it comes to how their car looks. (I personally think the wheels are terrible on a brumby) but what made it hilarious was all this teenager crap.....Mate I'm nineteen and am all for the lowered sports cars (have a lowered beamer with rims) however on a brumby they are just against what the car is about. besides a little bit of respect for guys on here who know alot more than both you and I about cars

Who you calling OLD?? and any time you want to do some "skids" you just show us how you'd do it in your Brumby with those rims on it :???: good luck !!

I think those wheels did look good on that 'girls car' because it was done up as a show car.

You missed the point!

Post by FujiFan » Wed Jan 19, 2011 3:43 pm

Its not a personal attack at you, however the facts are clear. They are totally wrong for the car. Read: Unatractive, unsuitable, unstable, uneconomical and prob not even legal in any state. Those wheels belong on the BMW of some sum drug dealing, Gun toting, bling wearing wankers that cruise the streets of Lakemba in their "gangs" making MacDonalds' car parks look untidy! If you can find a buyer, then great for you. Otherwise cash em for scrap metal and help society out, please.
