+1 for one of my mates with the same car, colour and all (new paint job due to hail damage 6months ago) except already a manual with an EJ25.
wombataaron wrote:Hey i have the exact same car even in the same colour and i plan to do exactly the same mods as you minus the engine conversion and dccd thingy, i was wondering where did you source your 3" strut top lift from? Ive tried and can't find anyone selling any, also have you had any problems resulting from lifting the car that much since its been done?
Try Crossbred Performance. They should be able to help you out.

LIft

The lift was from Dave (SubiwanKenobi) via Ausubaru here. I don't think Crossbread do a lift for Gen 3. It is 2 inch lift with 3 inch strut tops. I wouldn't bother with just a strut lift, best to do the job properly. I haven't had any dramas with the car at all. The rear LSD was binding up so added some Penrite LSD additive and all works fine now. Have had it on quite a few varied terrains including very deep snow where I was glad for the locked centre as it was struggling for traction at times.

Has been returned to standard and sold. All the good bits are now in a Gen 1 Legacy GT. Will have a few pics of this one up soon.

Have you got these pics up already in a new thread? Could you post a link to the thread?

Shame it's been sold on, looked like an awesome setup on a good looking vehicle - reminds me of my L series...

Will get some pics sorted soon, was waiting to get the car looking more complete but have just been driving it. Due to a slashed tyre have miss matched rims at the moment.
