My new 89 touring wagon

Hi all, thought i'd quickly get to posting up a little bit bout my latest L series.

I had a brown 88 L series (Carby, power nothing with A/C but in awesome nick with 185k and full suby service history) which i didnt think much of whilst i owned and which i sold a bit over a year ago... ever since life just hasnt been the same so when the opportunity to pick up another one came up i didnt hesitate.

So this is it. Its a 4/89 touring wagon, now has 95k on the clock (again with full service history). I find it a novelty with how many electric bits it has, but it deeply worries about repair costs as they age lol.

Plans for the new one is 2" lift kit, 14" scorpion subaru wheels (open to advice on tyres to match) UHF radio, Nudge Bar (if anyone wants to sell one let me know) Spotties and a few other things to help it on its many planned mild off road trips lol.

The car is basicaly a daily drive (i also have a Ford which more than lives up to its big car reputation) so dont want to go to over the top, but still want to be able to have some good weekends away and go pretty much anywhere i want lol.

The pics don't work for me  But I'm gueesing its the touring wagon in your sig pic. Not a bad looking unit. Has it really only got 95K on the clock??? That is not even toddler age!

Another Q: Is it MPFI or carbie fed?

Best of luck with the mods, I'll be keen to see photos.

Cheers

She is MPFI.

its the genuine K's on the car... canberra being as small as it is it didnt take long to find out the cars whole life story.

i'll have another go at putting the picks up too

Cheers, Tim

Yeah i'm not a big fan of the wheels, my last one had the same one too.... maybe when the new one grows up a bit it will look more like yours!
