Does anyone actually know how much height gain can be had from this duck beak adjuster?

What sort of mechanism is it, like how does it work ?

Think I may have gained or dropped only 3mm either way not sure how far is too far or limits

Is it the same system they used in the MY wagons? if so then I think the max is 30mm (someone correct me if I'm wrong) There is a few pages about it in the "4WD'ing with Subaru" book, and half of that was spent talking about how you shouldn't leave it raised when you don't need it
Will it ever end!?

yeah 25-30 mm is the maximum lift the torsion bar will give you

using a 32 mm hole saw and a cordless drill so that it was a slow process I drilled a hole (in the tray) 27 cm from the cabin wall and 65.5 cm from the tray wall. remember that my brumby was a farm vehicle and my tray has flattened out so you may want to get under your brumby and measure from underneath. The bung I used is out of the top of an MY strut it looks like it was made for the job.

maybe u need to find a wide old disused sheep dip trench, fill with mix of diesel and oil and just soak the Brumbys arse end in it for a while :) :)
I've not read the suspension details in manual but wonder if it increases the height by 30mm or increases the bump stop height from factory 20mm to 30mm ?

not a bad idea to soak the whole thing for a few days it would stop the rust and loosen up all the workings :)

sadly I have NFI on which height it increases :)

First ? Us ? No its you guys who he comes to first - you guys get to see the 25th before us don't forget ! By the time he's done with you lot and he works his way up here, he's only got crappy little prezzies like shower gel and socks left over when he reaches here:( you have had all the good stuff ! I can only guess what might be left for Mark T'sunami - by the time he reaches the other side of the 'pond'
Unless he calls home for a re-fill first ! hehehe:rolleyes:

BOOHOOO! - so with all that 'scientific evidence' it can't be true then .......... its all been lies, fibs, and I feel used and cheated my world will never be the same again :(
This Christmas will now seem so empty and incomplete................

On the other hand Toongs - thanks for the tip off - I'm gonna save a packet now on the wifey's prezzie - seen as if there really is no Santa then Christmas prezzies that dont get delivered can now be blamed on his non arrival - present her with your 'evidence' and hey presto she cant argue and I save ££££'s ! - Hang on she will argue........sh*t I cant win.....
hehehe !
