some history...

it did a ton of kms as a postal delivery vehicle before it was rebuilt.
it has toured all round QLD and the NT.
it has seen more of fraser island than most cars ever do
it has crossed the country form brisbane to perth

and i remember very clearly it making my car look pretty average boosting up a sandy dropoff that i got bogged coming down!

I live in the area, in high Wycombe. As with the tyres, its a long story. I got pulled over to see if i had permits for the lift kit. I had some how lost them even though they kept in a particular place. The police computer had no record of it and so i got a yellow sticker. I had to put smaller tyres on to get it over the pits. The big wheels made it 2 hard to drive anyway because you could"nt full lock it and every time you did turn 2 hard, it would rub against the guards and damage the tyres. I soon found out the permit office had copies of the permits and but the licencing centre has no record of it. They thought the car was too loud, it measured 103 dsb and the legal limit is 93. It was quite disappointing having to quiet the car down. Now is 87 dsb. It felt like i had defanged a beast. On the bright side of this, Iv got used to it now.

Will be great to see it out on the track some time  I think it looks a little weird with little wheels as I always remember it with those monster treads on it. Have you taking it out 4WDing yet?

From here - its a very faded story about the engine (cant remember full story), before it was changed over - I remembered the previous engine was a good engine with expensive parts in it... Cant tell you much about it - Qld boys will be able to tell ya.
