Here are some pics I created by cutting n pasting some Subaru compatible RIMS from various sources...... < NOT TO SCALE >

Which rim do think suits this car best....???? :)

PIC-1........16" RODNEY JANE 'ILLUSION'

PIC-2........16" G-MAC 'PHANTON'

PIC-3........17" (GOLD) STARCORP '5002'

PIC-4........17" LENSO 'ELEGANCE'16

PIC-5........17" HP's

After carefull consideration, I dont think I will go for 17"s, even though I lurrrve the look of em....the 16"s are more practical for offroad fun.... But its nice to dream and see how they MIGHT have looked on my car....< DROOL > These are the five of my fave rims.....

Kaz

The gold wheels go well with the colour of the car, without being bright and tacky looking. I spose.

Illusions look the best to me. Black contrasts well with the Yellow.

dus every1 notice that the pics arent named in the order she said they are.

for example - Pic 1 is titled as 16s illusion where she called it the 17s Enzo Elegance.

i went for a set of 16s lol coz she said she probly wont go for 17s.
if i voted for 17s id go for the "Elegance"

Starcorp for me, but only as a road car. Forget about going into the scrub with any rim of that size.
14 in. Speedys or Scorpions for offroading.
Regards

Gary ;)

Looks too fragile to take any of them off road. Nice road bling with the Gold ones though.

Actually my preference is Subaru factory alloy wheels . I bought a clean set of MY00 Rex wheels (with tyres) for $250 . 16 x 7 with rubber - 250 - still cant believe it .

Many aftermarket wheels are quite heavy and high unsprung weight not desirable on light cars . I like factory engineering .

Your call , cheers Adrian .

Yeah Factory Alloys would be a very good idea for sure....light, yet strong. I just like to be DIFFERENT I guess.... ;)

....Don't I ALEX...???? hehehehe

Im quietly considering a set of 16" Outback rims like these.....with a tiny bit of strategically placed Yellow Paint to compliment the bodywork...it would save me a packet of $$$'s too... :)

Whaddayafink...???

For me... I like the these white desert rims. Sorry mate. Going from 13" factory standard to 17" after market is headache & pain in the arse with insurance and other things down the track (police etc).. and your car will be automatically un-roadworthy if you exceed over 2" from factory rims unless you have engineer's certificate and bigger brakes etc.. I'm sorry if I sound negative mate...
Cheers

.....Thats a fair enough comment :)

Although I believe you can go up to 17"s max, legally, on an L, Im of the understanding that these 'L' based cars did come out of Subaru Factory in 15's (on some cars like Vortex's, RX's etc) which would make the 17's OK. I may have heard wrongly though. ....Perhaps someone can confirm this for me..... Besides....my car is getting fully Engineered anyway. The brakes and suspension are late model Forester/Liberty, I cant see the coppers making too much a fuss under these circumstances....if Foresters can run 17's, I cant see why I cant.... Insurrance wise, 'Shannans' have already agreed to Insure my car, post modifications, no probs. :)

only like them cos theyre deep dished. Just not a fan of big shiny alloys on 4x4's...VERY expensive if you hit a rock, or crack a wheel.

(ps, if you do get these wheels make sure you get common ones, just incase you break one and you cant get anymore of them!)
