Pug rim questions

Looks for a set of (5) 14" rims for the MY wagon.
Widening my options and starting to look seriously at 504 and 505 Pug rims.
Sorry for all the questions but I think I am going to have more luck in finding 14's from a Pug than other rims for early Subaru's
Wondering on comments re -
-504 rims need special washers and nuts to fit.
-MY studs may be too short with some Pug rims (504 with washers ?).
-504 rims may not be able to be balanced by some tire balance dealers.
-505 preferred rims as they don't seem to need the special washer.
-505 rims may be different widths depending on if they are steel or alloy.

Any experiences people may have had with Pug rims good or bad ?

No experience with put rims but have you thought about a set of Phil'a reproductions scorpion style rims?

Cheers

Have I been living under a rock ?
More details please, I have no idea of this potential.

Probs best to contact him on here though.

They're a good price for a new rim I reckon.

I have seen those on ebay now you mention it.
Hadn't looked into how the +55 offset would look under the MY guard and how much it may stick out.

Looks great, I'm not cashed up enough at the moment to get these (joys of the MY being a hobby car) just recovering from rego etc.
Wouldn't mind a photo from side on to see offset but if these sit better than the usual Sunnies I'm definitely going with these over Sunnies.

I ran 505's (14" steel) with no issues at all for about 5 years. Perfect offset for Brumby. Pretty much unbreakable. Very rarely can find them at a junkyard.
Wagon are a little wider than sedan, I ran sedan all round.
