Wheel Identification -

Howdy,
I have these rims that were once fitted to a 86 Suby Wagon I owned once. Can anyone identify what they would have been originally fitted to? They are performance Australia rims, 13 x 5.5 JJ

Guessing that they were made for Subaru, given the look of Sunraysias, yet in alloy. Local manufacturer able to adjust to local needs and demand. Not a bad looking rim!

More curious to see if the centre hole is same as to take the little factory chrome centre caps

They look very similar in design to the Performance wheels on my Dads car, except his are polished alloy with a black (enamel?) center circle. They're actually on my sig pic below, not a great pic though. Bought them to go on the MY wagon circa early 80's, transferred over to the L series they stick outside the guards by half a bee's appendage, not enough for cops to notice but enough to give the L a meaner looking stance

Ive seen them on quite a few MY wagons over the years the last set I saw was on an MY touring wagon wreck at Bunbury Auto wreckers about a year ago

I just checked and the diameter of the rims centre hole is smaller than the factory chrome cap.
I just dug up the 4 centre caps that came with the rims as well.

Another look and I notice that odd bit of the pattern is not a hook to hang them up on, but must be for truck like tubeless valve with a right angle in it ?
They'll dresss up nice, even if sand blast the whole thing and do a clear powdercoat finish

If your centre caps are anything like ours, they are 100% 1980's grade brittle plastic, coated in some kind of chrome-ish foil, now peeling off in large flakes
Completely un-usable, they're like a cone-to-oval shape with "Performance" written on the top.
