Hey guys, I'm looking at some new rims for my 89 Vortex 4wd and I want to know how big of a wheel can I fit under it without it scraping and how wide the rim/tyres could be without it doing the same. Thanks for any help.

if you are to keep within ADR allowances, can only increase nominal overall tyre diameter by no more than the 15mm allowance over that of the tyre placard tyre size
195.55.15 i think is the biggest, 6" about the fattest, maybe more if you can play with offsets , but that will drive our 0.31 drag coefficient up

Surely you mean 0.29?

I'd really like to get to 205 width tyres.

Nay, not a typo - 0.29 for the FWD's and 0.31 for the 4WD - unles you can get a 4WD as low slung as a FWD

I ran a set of 205/60R13 once. Still std. height at 23" and about as good as it gets on original rims.
