L sunnies on MY Question

Theres a set of 14" sunraysias on ebay that came off an 89 L wagon. Before i make a bid id like to know if their offset is fine for an MY. Would they stick out very far front or back? If the offset is not the best for an MY, would it mean more guard bashing or a ton of rubbing with 27" tyres on? (2 or 3" body lift will be done before installing)

Thanks all.

The L.Series sunraysias will fit the M.Y.Series and not stick out as much as they do on the L but they still don't have the correct offset, this is why people tend to go for the scorpion rims but not sure if they are still available?

Ok thanks, will the incorrect offset have many cons? In this case does it just mean it'll stick out more and may need to cut more of the guard since the rubber goes out further when on lock? Rubbing on suspension/steering components on lock?

Sorry for the dumb Q's :D I dont want to pay for somthing that wont be right for what i want, even if its cheap as chips.

i had them on my my leone and had no problems. from memory i had to cut the front and do a little panel beatin with a hammer. but it was nothing major. and they didn rub after that no mater how hard i went in the bush. and i had a 2 inch kit in mine

yes they were 27s. i had 28s on a my wagon but as well as the guard chop i had to roll the guards to. it used a vary technical tool to do it. an alloy baseball bat

I swap mine around between L and Brumby often. They stick out more on an L than on MY at front
