13inch mud tyres?

Hey all im after some tyres to fit 13 inch wheels, in mud/dirt pattern. for offroading, ive had a look around a few tyre places and no luck. im guessing they dont make them like that anymore to suit 13 inch wheels, but was wondering if anyone knew where you could get some or an obtainable brand?? cheers.

did a search for you and found one link to a set of tyres that were sold in 2007

Falken RX 025A 175/65 R13 rally tyres

so they are available but might be hard to come by unless specially ordered

it is a start

and who in their right mind would go rallying in an excel

It's really not practical to stick with 13" if you need decent offroad tyres. Go to 14".
Even with 14s the range is quite limiting but still way better than 13s. You also get the natural advantage of a larger diameter tyre which in itself is much better offroad, even sticking with street tyres.

mmmm im not too sure about how effective they would be but if you havent got an ej then im not sure if youd want off road wheels if you get what i mean. best bet would be for you to get a set of new or even used rally tires. a lot more fun on normal dirt roads. get into the rally circles and you can pick them up realy cheap

Dunlop, Kuhmo and Silverstone all do 13" rally tyres.
The Dunlop is the pick. But at about $150 each, they are a bit pricy new.
Sometimes you will find some 2nd handies floating around the rally forums
We use them in the Hyundai Excel rally series.
The only problem you may have is the letters in the sidewall that state "off road use only"
So a keen Pink Slip/Roadworthy inspector may have a problem with them

do you need the tyres to be 13' is it for a rally class where the wheels must be of a standard size like in the excel rally series if so going to a bigger tyre size isn't an option

if you were able to go to 14' or 15' a set of redrilled 6 stud sunraysias would get you a whole range of tyres to choose from

or the 6 stud conversion is an option or the always talked about crossbred kit

but if you need to stay in the 13' class then it will be a long search
