hi I'm thinking of getting a brumby and i was wondering how people adapt 5 stud wrx rims on to 4 stud brumbies. also what is the biggest rims you can fit without fender modification.

Crossbred kit, XT6 rear hubs from the US (rare) and Liberty fronts, hub adaptors. Search the forum for the crossbred kit.
I've fitted 15" rims on 60 profile tyres under a stock unlifted Brumby but it's pretty tight at full steering lock. 14" is a much better option and wheels are a lot easier to find. I find the 14" rims are a huge inprovement to handling over the stock 13", and the 15" are slightly better again for on-road.
A better option might be to look at 6-stud 4wd rims - very easy to drill out the stud pattern from 4x140.

or a 4x140 to 5x100 spacer plate... Not 100% sure where you can buy them from but if you ask "chriSTIan" I'm sure he'd let you know where he got his set from
I like the Crossbred kit and have purchased a set to put on my car... I did this only due to the fact I'm upgrading the engine HP and with the Crossbred kit, it allows you to use the brakes from a wide range of models e.g. WRX 4spot fronts and 2spot rears

You'll need the Crossbred kit and some other bits and pieces. Not much drilling at all, just enlarging 2 holes.
Have you talked to Jeff yet? He'll be only too happy to tell you all about it?
