Ummmmmmm... This may seem strange? but why did you buy 14" rims if your not going to lift the ute? The only way you'll get tyres to fit (that wont rub) is to fit low profile like 195/40R14 and using these tyres will make both everyday driving harder on the suspension and lastly really sh*t if your planning on doing any beach/sand driving?

i had 185/65 R14 in Studless Snow Tyres (were Beefy as for a 185/65) and they ONLY JUST rubbed on the very bottom of the front guards, with no lift.

Lift it first then buy tyres to suit.
There's no down side.

He doesn't want to lift it.
I am about to go some Maxxis MA-P1 tyres in 195/60 R14 for my unlifted L Series. You might want to double check they would go fine on a Brumby (im thinking they would!)

i havn't got a lift yet and running goodyear wrangler tg's , they only rub on big impacts, have cut the guards and beat the seams in under the body, takes a sledge hammer.
