Hey all,
Just wondering, what is the largest tyre you have seen/heard of on a minimal lifted L subie?
Im thinkin about putting a 2" or even no lift on my L wagz. As you know ive done extensive grinding/cutting.
Wanting to know if i will be able to fit 29s on there?
Cheers

I had 2" body blocks and 3" strut blocks on an L with 27" BFG's and Scorpions and still couldn't make full lock without rubbing. I would call 27's for being the largest practical tyre on a 2" lift...

Agreed - I wouldn't want any bigger than 27" on my 2" lift

Even my 4" kit on the leone was a bit of a pain on hard lock forward and reverse with 27" BFG's id so 27" no more

How much bashing are you willing to do?
With no lift and heafty bashing and cutting I'd say 28" OD before you have problems with the throttle pedal.
2" lift probably will gain you another inch. So 29"s yes.
But you have to be willing to bash the wheel well in right near the pedals about two to two and a half inches, and chop the fenders back about an inch or two.
