Hi all,
hope everyone is well.
I did chat a bit with Bennie about this but would like to put this out to all for
possibly more knowledge if ok.
I have a new to me 2022 wrx Ts wagon which with the wagons for some reason Subaru shod them
with 18 x 7.5 rims with 225/45 R18 tyres.
The sedans however are shod with 18 x 8.5 rims with 245/40 R18 tyres?
Does anyone know why they did this?
I quite like the sedan wheels and would not mind getting some powder coated and onto my wagon.
In your opinion would this be a problem in any way due to offset or whatever?
I would put the same tyres as my wagon has now on them to hopefully not upset the speedo and tyre pressure monitoring
but hmmmm.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Shane.

Re: 2024 wrx sedan wheels on a 2022 wrx wagon?
Only real way to check is to get hold of a spare wheel & compare test fit to see if it rubs on anything ...
Offset would be similar ( if not exactly the same ) the only difference would be the width of Tyre.
Thinking that the wider Tyre being a lower profile would be better for 'performance' side of tings.
Cheers, Bantum ...

Hi Bantum.
Cheers for this.
I think i will just put on some aftermarket goldies from Ozzy which
will be the same size rim and exactly the same tyres.
If I get a bit scared I will swap them with the originals at servicing time.
Speaking of servicing trying to get in touch with a Subaru dealer here in South Oz
is nearly impossible.
If the car was not under warranty i would just go to my mechanic I have now.
Cheers.
