Brand new red centre caps

Howdy all...I have some new red centre caps here, the question is how to keep them from fading and discolouring like all the centre caps I've ever seen?

don't use them

use your old caps for daily use and keep the brand new ones for special outings photoshoots etc

red is the first colour to lose (bleach) its pigment, as it does the most work in the light spectrum when reflecting light.

There's no protectant etc available for me to put on them?
