Post by brenton » Tue Sep 30, 2008 12:22 am

hey guys is it possible to fit some 205 (i think it 80 profile when its not listed ?) r16 to a my wagon, ive got a set split rims and tyres off my brother hilux. are they just to big ? and also they would throw my lowrange way out to the point low is like high range ?
cheers brenton

That tyre would be just under 29" diameter and without serious amount of lift and body work they will not fit , the other problem you have will be that you would have to mod the hubs to fit the toyots rims.

yeah as Mike said.

Im not sure what offset hilux rims are but theyre probably incorrect.

To be honest, its probably better going a set of 15inch rims. You will get better offroad capabilities when you let the tyres down and they 'bag' out becasue the tyres are bigger.

see this thread

ALSO....you will struggle to turn these wheels and tryres with the stock engine. They will probably be a disadvantage in all situations.
