Please try as hard as possible as it would be great to see you there. Even if we have to put together a 'Get Bennie to SA' fund ;)

Yeah, I'm in for that!!

Well, I am about to submit my annual leave form!!

As mentioned before, I will leave Melbs on Jan 3rd, hoping to be at Coffin Bay on Jan 4th late arvo...

Then, start heading back on Jan 11th and be home and hosed Jan 12th, with the Sunday to recover before heading back to work.

Do these dates align with the WA guys coming over? Now's the time to adjust my dates if required.

Cheers,
Pedro.

I'm planning on leaving Perth on Dec 27th, as I'm thinking of taking 2 or 3 days to get across. I need to be back in Perth on the 7th of Jan for work.

By the sounds of it, I'll be travelling over by myself???

Yeah it's a bit more complicated that just the money side of things. Since getting a full time job I'm feeling more time poor and financially poor since we've been slowly repairing/replacing those things that have gone by the way side or that we've held off repairing/replacing. Rent's a killer too. Sorry for the whinge, but it seems that everyone has a hand in your wallet these days :( Just as you feel like you're making some progress something else comes along. I digress...

I still have a memory of a previous one! It was started as a bit of fun after putting my foot in it one boring day at uni. It ended up with me doing this with my brother and our tax returns. Good times until he kill the radiator and shot the newly rebuilt engine - I'm still a bit dark about that, long story.

I'll be getting a tatts ticket and hoping for the best.

Paul, PM sent ;)

Cheers

I'm definitely out, unfortunately :(
I can't get the time off work, my car just isn't ready for a 5000km round trip and money. I don't really want to throw in my new apprenticeship to come. lol

I most likely will be coming across in mid-late 2013 though for a holiday. Atleast then my car will be upto scratch and I come and see/meet a few people :D

I'm very sorry to hear that, Taza...

It seems that the numbers are running a bit thin. I am still in and would like to know who else is definitely in??

We got people from:

VIC:
- Pezimm
-

WA:
- RSR 555
-

SA:
??

Keen to have a roll count, we're about a month away! I will also post this on ORS to see if there's anyone from there coming.

Cheers,
Pedro.

Didn't get any feedback on ORS...

I support the idea of postponing this for a year to build the numbers, if that makes sense?

Will have to find somewhere else cheaper to go this year.

So put this off until 2014?

Have I got this correct?

I'd like to know too, if it is correct then I will almost definitely be in. 1 year is easily enough time to get my car sorted and I can now book my holidays in advanced ;)

For me and my roster at work (in my current position), if it's Jan 2014 then it will need to be after the 9th of Jan and will need to back a week before school starts again.

Well, I first heard of the AUSubaru forum in a trip I went to that was posted on ORS (I could be the exception that confirms the rule, but I'm sure there are others)

Sounds good to me! But this time we need to lock it in early and allow everyone plenty of time to save-up (money and annual leave)...

Cheers,
Pedro.

& get their cars ready...

Mine needs a few things done. Most of all install my 2" body lift (1st mod the trailing arm mounts so they dont stress the rails), bullbar (need to fab up some mounting brackets), driving lights (all the wirings done, just need my bullbar to mount them) & finally my snorkel (need to find my holesaw auger then build up the courage to drill a dirty big hole in my panel ;-)

Oh, I also have some maintenance like find/fix an oil leak from behind the plastic TBelt cover & replace the hoses.

Next year would be a much better option :D

It'd be awesome if you could make it nachaluva!

I've seriously got to work out a saving plan for this. Time off shouldn't be an issue. Might think about spending New Years over there. Will have to run it past Mrs El Freddo...

Cheers
