Hi... I'm trying to track down a Scout/similar camp I stayed in on the GOR when I was young. I've been told it was located directly opposite this rock formation. Google Maps didn't help. Does anyone know? It's supposedly 10kms or so east of Port Campbell.

If this thread gets no hits, I might post somewhere a bit more prominent, at risk of being moderated! moderaaaaated

Hey,
I put "scout camp great ocean rd" into google maps and the first result is-

"Eumeralla Scout Camp. 1415 Great Ocean Road, Anglesea 2km from Anglesea, 36km from Geelong. 03 5263 1241(H ..." vicscouts.asn.au"

Sound right?
Daza.
:D

p.s. and you didn't even need to get moderated!!!

Might wanna try the 'general' forum, or even contacting Scouts Australia may give the outcome you want

If it meant to be 10kms east of Port Cambell then its def not the one outside of Anglesea - couple hundred k's dif. Can't help with the rock formation at the mo (been up there the last 3 weekends) but will keep an eye out if i head out that far again. Good luck

Hey guys! I found it - it's Sherbrook River camp, owned by Guides Victoria. Trying to figure out when I can book it. Thanks for your help :)
