Me too mate, My bro just got back from a trip up there, he went with two mates.  They flew to cairns and hired a 4wd.  He said the 4wd had some issues they didn't want to worry about, the whole reason for hiring a 4wd rather than taking their own...  I haven't caught up with him long enough to check out pics or hear his stories but I know they were dissappointed with the 4wd.

				Made Renners Springs to Darwin last night, 
 
took this car freighter passage from Seisia last Monday 
 
just managed to beat the tide out of port
 
Bamaga  boys did some aerials from the Cairns barge the day before
 
 
and arrived in Cairns on Weds. I'll try and post a few of the vids I've been able to upload.
Met  Jamie and Jason, up from Cairns to do some work for Rio Tinto, fishing at Weipa. 
 I caught  a catfish, these guys guys were getting trevally, queenfish, barramundi, salmon. Mind you, they knew what they were doing, so I shot the footage.

After getting bogged on the spit at Weipa
 
I joined up with this crew to do the five beaches loop at Sommerset. I made sure my tyres were at 18 for the beach runs.

				before getting down and dirty while going up. Yep, I had my window open and all that flying sand went into my ear. Ivana, taking the video, freaked  that I was going to collect her.

				them pics were so cool i love weipa and cant wait till we head for the tip of aus and hope we all plan to call into weipa perhaps??. depending on time i suppose.
