TD04 and TF035 data for potential EA82T retro fit .

Hi all , parts supply for rebuilding VF10/11/8/12 IHI turbos is fast drying up so aside from std EA82T turbos they have just about been declared obsolete .

So I guess the future at this point is going to be more modern turbos that you can get spare parts for should yours lunch itself .

This is a link to an American mob called Melett and shows the specs of the TF035 Mitsu turbos .

http://www.melett.com/pdfs/MHI/Mhi%20TF035.pdf

I am trying to find a link to their site that shows the TD04 type mainly because they have a much wider range of compressors and turbines in incremental sizes . Rubs hands together - lots of custom combos will fit together I reckon .

Not time atm , Ellie needs a pink slip for rego but just a taste .

The TF035 (TF035HM) is quite small at 42.5/35.5 inducer/exducer . By comparison the basic TD04 turbine is 47.24/39.87 so 71 trim . The one I think the early Rexes get is I think the TD04L which is the same as above only 76 trim or 41.15 exd .
Some JDM later Rexes get the TD04HL turbine which is larger again at 51.81/44.2 so 73 trim .

More research ot do later , cheers A .
