i have used L series lower control arms and hubs on the MY Monsterwagon and now the steering rack is too short
i have been told that the EA71 tie rod ends are longer,
does anyone know how much longer?
and if so can they sell me some?.
or is there any other car with longer ends to do the trick?
cheers for your help

Johnnie, even early and late model Brumbys have different length tie rod ends.
I have got two different sets for an 86, it must be about the changeover year.
Hows it coming along big fella?
Are you going West??

There was something about using XF falcon parts when installing L series control arms on and MY but I think it may have been the falcon castor rods.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

It was re-forged castor rods.
I will endeavour to have a look for you tomorrow, bluesteel. I'll measure up the threads etc and go from there.

Sorry bluesteel I forgot to post a follow-up..
I didn't get anywhere at all with it, I had a look through the catalogue at work and couldn't find anything suitable.
Good to hear you got there in the end.
