Hi i was wondering does anybody know of any softer compound brake pads for a brumby? I tow a trailer and even with rear discs the front brakes overheat a fair bit[and dont work very well] also it is only a small trailer and even without it the brakes are not great Any help appreciated

Why would you want a softer compound for towing? Softer compound pads overheat sooner, and offer less braking capability than harder compound pads.

If I was towing regularly with an MY I would only have one choice in brake pads: Bendix Heavy Duty. These are basically the newer version of the old Bendix Metal King's.

You are going to go through rotors quicker with harder compound pads, but the harder pads have a higher maximum working temperature and better stopping ability.

The Bendix site has more information on this, but basically you are looking at a harder pad for your application.
Oh - and the reason I've used Bendix as an example is because I have had a lot of experience with their pads, and yes, amongst other brands I do sell them at work.
