Well I ordered my whiteline 22mm rear swaybar on Monday and by Thursday it was all here as they said. This is what showed up.



So Saturday it was install time. When I really looked at it, it was totally different to the factory one. Not just in size but everything was different. Anyway with whitelines standard sway bar install instructions I was left to work it out myself. So after working it out it was time to go to the hardware store. Whiteline didn't even supply the nuts for the braket that holds the sway bar to it. After buying the nuts, washers, and some dom nuts (my choice) I went about putting it on. Well doing the last couple of nuts up I lookd at it and whet sh!t I forgot the rear shafts were not in. Bugger it had to move forward approx 60mm. So the next day it was time to go down to repco and buy some exhaust clamps. this is how it turned out.

Then the bits I had to buy, some are on the car already.



And then the left over bits. Thanks for the junk whiteline the dumb will thank you for them.

Thanks for the info on whiteline I was going to go there (in Sydney) for front and rear bars on my V6 Camry, have ordered through Wholesale suspension at Penrith , NSW instead. Went to KMac Suspension at Rockdale in Sydney for front 20mm & rear 16mm on my EA82T L series sedan, they did an excellent job, just too far to go again Penrith is closer to me. You did a good job, well done.

The sway bar quality is great. The lack of instructions and parts required not required is ****e.

That seems pretty weird....are you sure they supplied the correct model?
Also can you notice a significant different to the handling of the car now?

Sure can. All I need is a fuel tank to weigh the back down a little more and she should be great.

Seriously though. It is the right part it fits to well once you get into its right place. The kit prob contained some universal parts.

She's not running guys. Heaps to do yet.

BSR41 is a rear whiteline bar for a Brumby and price I got last year was about the 200 bucks mark if that's any help

Yeah about 200 plus. But mine is a custom size so expect to pay a little more.

Would you mind posting rough dimensions - lengths of the arms and the diameter you went with ?

Also, those attachment points near the rear shock mounts on the trailing arms. Were those holes already there, or did you have to drill them ?

that looks familiar. kmac did a similar one years ago.
changed the way the car handled dramatically.


do you still have the brackets for the old OEM one? if so will you sell them. since the rear of mine has been in bits one too many times I have lost a set of them.

Standard Whiteline spec except for the thickness. I went 22mm and standard spec is 16mm. Yes I had to drill holes but will weld the brakets on when I take the arms out of the car for bushes and a paint job.

Sorry no brakets. She's not genuine turbo.

Sorry it would be jus a little hard to measure with the curve in the middle and the angle it is on.
