L-series nudge bar install

Post by Alex » Mon Jan 15, 2007 9:54 pm

hey all,

i recently got my hands on a nioce shiny nudge bar (thanks D3vil), it still needs more buffing(now i have a dillema, how can i mount it?..some photos below..

i was thinking about bolting it through the bumper(and the steel behind it), but of course the bumper isnt square, it tapers off, so if i was to put it on, the bar would be sitting forwards.., i was thinking spacing it out with washers or something, but then there would be a gap between the bar and the bumper

i was also thinking about cutting the bar on an angle to get it flush...

any ideas or pics of othere people's installs would be greatly appreciated..

and i realise it should go through the recovery points of the car, but this is totally cosmetic, not practical(like the rest of my car! :))

i forgot too, maybe space it, and add a plastic or timber wedge to fill in the gap...

and for those people who think it will look gay(it won't trust me :))
