The front bung in the oil pump.
Watch out for the exhaust.
Use a metal line if you can.....

Some RX's came with oil pressure gauge as standard (Jap models?). So when I installed mine I just found were the factory one should come from and installed it from there. Its at the front of the engine around the area near the oil filter I can't remember exactly were. It had a plug in it similare to the sump plug, pulled that out put the approriate fitting in and it worked sweet.
If you can exchage the mechanical pressure gauge for a electric one I probably would. I originally started of with a mechanical one but found the pipe to short, I also did not like the idea of oil coming inside the car. But thats just me;)

yeah, mechanical gauges have a long history of burst/melted oil lines causing fires. my motor came with a pressure sensor for an electric guage, which fits in the larger plug hole, a switch for a warning light is in the small one. your fittings should fit one or the other. but that exhaust cross over pipe is "right there" to catch any oil drips........ I'd second L's recommendation, swap for an electric guage.

I have a braided line running from the spot on the pump already mentioned to a gauge inside. Remember to fit the restrictor to stop the needle from bouncing.
