Post by seagull » Wed Aug 30, 2006 11:32 pm

I found to day the jap manual wrx gear boxes have a extension cable for the speedo cable about 130mm long .With this you can get an auto cable & clip it together making it reach the back of the speedo with a lifted liberty ect .

just thought I let you all know , seagull

All the EJ boxes have a small part on the bottom that separates, not just the JDM turbos.
So you replaced the manual upper part with an auto one?
Current rides:
JDM GTII Touring wagon
88 RX Turbo Full-time 4wd touring wagon project - 97 Toyota Caldina GTT (turbo 4wd WRX eater:twisted:) - Hyundai Excel Rally Car:confused::???:
Previous rides:
93 Legacy GT wagon - 85 RX Turbo Full time 4wd Touring Wagon - 85 GL AWD sedan
96 Toyota Caldina wagon

Not all the EJ boxes, there is quite a few that have electronic sendors. But yes, a lot of the early AJ boxes had it.
