I have a 1990 GX Wagon. What is involved in this conversion ?
is it just a matter of purchasing shocks and springs and fitting them up ?
Is there off the shelf stuff available or do I have to chase down second hand parts from the same model liberty with out air suspension ?
Estimated cost ? (is $800 too much to pay for the suspension)

hi mate i had an 1990 gen 1 liberty aswell and i did the same swap u are thinking of doin, i rang round a few places and then got estimate $ and i ended up going to pedders and got them to fit the conversion kit.

everything u need is in the kit and they are very familiar with the swap. its not cheap mind u 1400$ all up in the end but thats supplied And fitted then 4 wheel alignment 2...

its expensive but cheaper then getting new airbag shocks ( 450$ or around there) and imo a better ride then the airbags cheers Ben

$1400 isn't bad considering someone else did all the work.

I'm upto $970 in parts with new struts, springs & upper spring mounts from the wreckers for the conversion I'm doing for my parent's 93 wagon.
