Gabriel and Monroe are seperate companies as far as I know. I sold the Monroe brand of shocks for years and I've never touched a Gabriel. A quick Google turns up nothing to suggest the two are the same.

Pedders however are repainted Monroes. Google 'fukron' for more info, I beleive the site has been torn down. Basically its the story of a bloke who was ripped off in buying a Pedder's franchise and went public on all their dirty secrets.

87 RX, EJ20G

89 Brumby, EA81

The website is gone. I'd really like to read it but apparently thats not going to happen.
I have nothing but success dealing with my local pedders shop.

Air Shocks All Round?

Post by PHATnob » Thu Aug 24, 2006 7:49 pm

Had an idea of havin air shocks all round, and using a small high speed compressor in the back to adjust the absorb strength whilst in the car..
Prob have the air hoses in "paralell" so they all pump to the same pressure. Just an idea, wot are your thoughts on that?
