Hi guys,
I have a water-air intercooler fron an 89 RS legacy. I was wondering if it would work as well (or better) if i installed it on my 94 twin turbo legacy instead of its current air-air intercooler. Thanks for any help.

I think you will find that the water air unit is more restrictive with air flow compared to the air to air.

I dont think its any more restrictive but the TT will need 2 inlets and the valving added to the WAIC can be done but it would neccessitate the cutting off of the current inlet and then fabricating and rewelding the inlet to be compatable to the TT setup.
From what i have read i think the WAIC is capable to about 190KW at the wheels

Latest Perth Street Car magazine had the pros for the WAIC.
Obviously any stock IC is not as effective as a custom one.
