MY98 Sportwagon to WRX parts conversion compatibility

Post by theRJMC » Tue Mar 24, 2015 10:55 am

Hello, I have a n/a MY98 Sportwagon and I am finding mixed msg's on the net re upgrading/converting to WRX parts. There is a lot of info re sedan's however it seems that wagons are little different?

Can someone give a clear answer or link to more info please?

I am really interested in doing the sway bars, suspension to coilovers and if I can swap my standard front discs for WRX ones that are bigger and slotted for extra stopping power?

Thank you in advance.

Rj

I'm 99% sure suspension front and rear are interchangable without issue. If you go with the WRX brakes make sure you use the brake booster too. A complete system swap is much easier to do and get right than mix and matching bits.

Sway bars etc should bolt straight on.

Try asking on http://forums.nasioc.com/forums// for the answer. Of course start by searching to find what you're looking for before asking the question - you'll get more cred with current members if you've already done a search ;)

All the best with it!
