New clutch setup still slips. Tough auto?

Finally got a chance to test my new box, clutch setup on the weekend.
The custom u-beaut clutch setup is no good. Is nice & smooth to operate but doesnt hold in 4th & 5th when there is heavy load on it.
I told the guy who made the clutch (Dennis @ Direct Clutch Services) it needed to hold 400hp at the flywheel with planning for future mods and doesnt even hold about 300 at the moment.
So am either having to go back to the brass button setup sacrificing box longevity or build a tough auto.
Has anyone had experience with building a strong auto?
I know would need get a 4000rpm stall converter, shift kit, trans cooler & possibly a trans-brake but would a L series auto be up to the task keeping in mind i'm on my 6th DR 5 speed at the moment.

Use a EJ box and pull clutch set-up ;).....you wanna go full on use a 6spd fw and clutch with the 5spd EJ box.

The EA82 auto is weenie. Use the EJ style, I have a front housing. Easy to trick up. You should have used the double diaphram pressues plate but that still wont keep boxes together. You will find the auto a step backwards in your light weight/small capacity car, I dont think it will feel as fast.

Mate I have got one of his modified Liberty clutches im my car and it slips too, not even 6 months old yet. Fair enough he said to bring it back in and he will take a look at it, bit hard when it is your everyday driver and only car.

Hmmm decisions decisions. So my options are:
1. Back to brass button clutches & destroy boxes
2. Do the double diaphragm & convert to hydraulic pedal
3. EJ 5 Sp box, adaptor plate, tailshaft?
4. EJ Auto, stall, trans cooler, shift kit, tailshaft?
5. Heckle the clutch guy for another type cause he promised it would hold..

If I went the auto option, would probably put on a 50-75hp shot of gas. The gearbox has been the only thing holding me back from installing the bottle. But am seriously considering just selling it & starting a quicker project it's not cutting it in terms of $$$ & reliability.
Had the intention of selling it once the new box, clutch & flywheel was installed and has only been back on the road for a week & it's causing me more problems & dollars!

Mine isnt my only car but my daily driver has just packed it in as well! Might have to drop mine up there for him to look at. Have checked all the adjustments & is all spot on but as to taking it all out, I just dont have the time & space to do it. Will give him a call in the morning & see if he can sort it out for me.

EJ conversion is hard as you cant use adapture plates [you have to space the flywheel], normal Lib gears are the same as EA82
