ok whats been discovered to date.the fwd auto loom is missing all wires assoiated with AWD however the plugs are the same The wiring colours are the same.So its just a matter of adding the pins and wires to suit Awd[5 or 6 wires].the tcu will plug str8 in.Thanks Dane for the wiring diagrams.

Sounds like you figured a fair bit out will
Are you building an offroader? If so I reckon you should bite the bullet and fit a VTD auto box out of an early TT lib or early WRX. If your going to be going out and buying an AWD box and TCU, its not going to cost you much more to go VTD.
You should be able to pick up a TT TCU to drive the VTD for $50 but you will need to invert the throttle position signal as its inverted on the later cars.
If you can get an early WRX TCU you dont have to bother with the TPS problem as it matches the Gen1 style TPS. Problem is everyone knows this and therefore they cost about $400...
I have been thinking about knocking up a circuit to do the inversion as i will put VTD in mine when my box eventually dies, so i may be able to help you out getting a TT TCU to work.
Either way hte end result over a standard Gen1 box is way stronger rear drive which you really want offroad.
