Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has the dimensions (i.e. full length, and measurement to the carrier bearing) for some subaru driveshafts. I have done a five speed conversion on a 1992 Subaru Alcyone SVX and am in need of a new shaft. I was quoted $1200 for a new custom built shaft with servicable unis and a Holden commodore middle cv. I am not quite ready to invest that much money into a driveshaft. I have been told by someone on the SVX forum that some forester shafts fit without modification. From memory the shaft was approximately 1550mm in length, thats a very rough estimate, I will get the exact measurements ASAP and post them up here.
Thanks.
Jak.

Are you talking the front half axles, or the tailshaft that goes from the transmission to the rear diff?
