What clutch combition do you use on EA81 running a L Series 5 Speed? I thought it was a L series clutch plate and MY Pressure?

You need to be specific on this as to whether you are talking FWD or 4WD (as I learnt elsewhere)
Also need to be diameter specific as we can get 200mm or 225mm clutches on EA81
EA81 flys in 4WD have 23mm steps in them, L's are 21mm - mix the wrong step of fly with wrong pressure plate and it drives OK but shifts like a roo ted clutch
I have EA81 with 200mm jobbies and use the same pressure plate with a drive plate from or for Holden Isuzu Gemini 1.6 litre petrol
If you have 225mm flywheel on your EA81 from an EA81 you need the pressure plate for 225mm EA81 and think you will find it is the EA82 L Series drive plate.
As for the throwout bearing ... I get confused

All sorted now thanks to Rick. I am going to be running a 225mm L series clutch, Flywheel is getting machined now to suit

Makes good sense , machine the 23mm EA81 step down to L spec 21 and use all of the L Series clutch (for a 4WD)
allsorted , good!
