Looks like a fairly latest model (if it's the one in you avatar?) and next thing would be exhaust upgrade.

How much for exhaust? And I'm getting a tonneau cover soon

Tonneau cover equals 15 kw on dyno dynamics

Id gut the cat out of the exhaust.

Does any one have an idea how much an exhaust will cost?

You can buy the tonneau brand new for around 180-220 online. (not really a performance mod though haha).

An exhaust could cost you anywhere from 250-1000+, all depends on what you want/material/workshop.

Are you gearing this towards on road performance or off-road?

You could invest in some good rubber for starters.

check and adjust valve clearances.
Disconect the belt for air con if air con fitted.
run 98 octane fuel
run some upper cyl cleaner through it.
adjust ignition timing untill pinging occurs then back it off till it stops pinging.

I'd take the brumby to you're local canvas joint and have them make a tonneau cover for it. It'll cost the same and will fit from the start, where as the online unit might not fit the tie down points and if you don't have a middle bar you'll need one of them too.

Cheers

God point as Brumbies tend not to have same pattern for the studs at the window, nor same loop catch positions. I have one that was continuous length of bungey cord, another that has the neato loops. The first one allows much more leeway in fitting bulky things under tarp. My std exhaust is quiet and ute goes just as hard as my 2" zaust on the other. Would not class it as performance exhaust.
Save yer money, buy a spare dizzy ignition control module for your keyring - one thing that stoips a Brumby dead - had two so far.

You can have my tonneau cover if you can find the bastard that stole it....and the chrome cross bar which they took too.

all good points.
i bought mine online and it fit 100% but would be worth doing whats said above for sure. mine also came with a crossbar and the bar that mounts to rear window.
