silicone hoses galore !

Why is this

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Silicone-Sil ... 6d70b989ed

in the UK ?

Mr Silicone needs an Australian based supplier to keep us tinkerers happy. I got some 8mm stuff a while back never used it, shoulda got 7mm ID - looks to be right for all those tricky little EA series hoses and if I had seen 7mm before i woulda had some in spare for moments like now - stalled until FROG opens his doors again !! Or other Subie suppliers :)

Stuff above is vacuum hose, other listings specifically call it coolant hose, but you'd think silicone hose was silicone hose, not sure if the ID of vacuum hose can remain constant or suck itself in at times restricting water flow.

Stil have a visual in my head when some kid went to a national parts replacement company to source silicon vacuum hose for all his turbo vacuum hoses, got al sorts of weird performance issues immediately after (after a warm up period) pulls the bonnet to find them all sucked in on themselves :( bad stuff that was

Why do the EA's have so many vacuum hoses?
My mate wants me to put a pod filter on, and rip off all the vacuum hoses.
As with a pod filter you can't attach the vacuum hoses.

Cheers Cam

pollution gear and carby and no ECU. When you understand what and how each little vacuum hose works you may be able to hook 'em all up to the pod filter your mate wants you to get in trouble with :)
