I'm in the process of gather some parts for a serious over haul on Ruby Scoo's brakes. So far have new disc rotors and pads for the front, rotors only for the rear but will be grabbing some rear pads later this week. I have a second set of callipers to pull apart and clean up/replace seals etc on to replace the current units - LHS one in particular as it has no dust seal at the moment...
So I've been thinking of having the L series master cylinder overhauled in the process as well, then I got thinking about dropping a liberty master cylinder in there thinking that it might be larger than the original L series unit.
Thoughts on this? Should I use the matching Liberty booster as well or just have the L series unit overhauled and leave it at this?
I'm also thinking of new rubber brake lines which then got me thinking about a set of braided lines that are longer for the 3 inch lift so it will all very comfortably sit in there without dramas. Over kill?? The $$$ are an issue at the moment unfortunately - about to shell out for season's ski pass, dentist visit and rego in the same week

Ruby Scoo now has something over 446xxxkm on her, probably a good time to do something about the brakes! Maybe a 4 stud crossbred kit for the scorpions?! - if possible it would be a shame to have purchased most of the gear needed for the stock brakes...
Is there anyone that could sort me out with some longer braided lines that has access to an L series to get all the appropriate lines made up for a discs all round setup? Living up at hotham makes it difficult to drop it in to a brake place considering the nearest one is most likely over 2 hours away...
Cheers
Bennie
