I have done a few runs of these gas struts for WRXs in the past as the guys that know me from P-WRX will know. I bought an SG forester and sorted out a kit to suit it shortly afterwards. I can offer the standard height lift and also a vertical lift kit. (Holds bonnet completely vertical). End of last year I also bought an SF forester and have also sorted out a kit to suit them, although the SF kits do require drilling into the guard. Thought I might let you guys know about them and see if there is any interest.

There is a few L Series and MY owners that may be interested in what you can do for that era too. I tried, started and gave up on my Brumby. Hey , they are Subies, who needs to lift the bonnet anyway :)

Cheers for the props Tom...

Steptoe, I don't have access to an L or MY to work out if/how to make some work. I had an RS lib parked at my place for an extended period and there was no lack of trying but couldn't get a set to suit it. If someone with an L or MY wants some I'd be happy to take a look and see what I can do...

Thanks. I think I tried rear KA Laser struts off the top of the bonnet hinge on the Brumby and bracket made and rivetted to top of strut, not work due to bonnet flexing to much or struts too strong or totally rough app due to not knowing a fitment formula
